In Kung Fu Panda 4, Po is back and eager to teach you some of his skills

Skadoosh! With Kung Fu Panda 4 slated to be one of the new films released in 2024, the Kung Fu Panda franchise is back in action. Despite the fact that the DreamWorks series hasn't been active since 2016, we're confident Po and company can still make us laugh.

The 2008 release of the first Kung Fu Panda film followed a martial arts-mad panda who overcomes all obstacles, including his sensei's doubts, to become the fabled Dragon Warrior. Kung Fu Panda 4 intends to bring the same stunning animation and unforgettable antagonists that the previous films did, while also delving further into Po's past.

Confirmed release date for Kung Fu Panda 4

On March 8, 2024, Kung Fu Panda 4 will make its premiere exclusively in cinemas.

Casts

Po (Jack Black)

It's been confirmed that the famous Hollywood movie actor from the movie(jumanji) will be the voice actor in the new kung fu panda 4.
Jack Black has returned as Po the Panda, the franchise's leading character. In Kung Fu Panda 4, the Dragon Warrior will be looking for a replacement after years of defending the Valley of Peace. This will take him out of his house and into new places.

Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman)

For ages, Po and the Furious Five have been led by Master Shifu, portrayed by Dustin Hoffman. But in the impending follow-up, Jack Black's adorable panda will assume the position of the team's spiritual leader, with the crafty red panda taking a backseat.

Hoffman is a two-time Oscar winner who gained popularity for his roles in Tootsie, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Rain Man.

Mr. Ping (James Hong)

James Hong plays Mr. Ping from Kung Fu Panda in the next sequel. Po's adoptive father, Mr. Ping, owns a Chinese goose noodle store and resides contentedly in the Valley of Peace.

With over 600 TV, film, and video game credits, including Disney's Mulan, Pixar's Turning Red, and Everything Everywhere All at Once, Hong has been a stalwart of Hollywood since the early 1950s.

Li (Bryan Cranston)

Bryan Cranston's character Li, who debuted in Kung Fu Panda 3, will return in Kung Fu Panda 4. Li, Po's biological father, was seen in the last movie to be living in an enigmatic town outside of the Valley of Peace with a family of pandas.

In addition, Cranston starred in Malcolm in the Middle, Little Miss Sunshine, and Breaking Bad.

Tai Lung (Ian McShane)

Tai Lung, the antagonist from Ian McShane's Kung Fu Panda 1 film, returns in the follow-up, but not in the way one might anticipate. The character will confront the Chameleon, who is attempting to take the kung fu spirit of the greatest fighters in history, after losing to Jack Black's Po in the first film.

Fans of Lovejoy, American Gods on Prime Video, and the John Wick franchise will recognize McShane.

Zhen (Awkwafina)

Zhen (played by Awkwafina) is one of the new additions to Kung Fu Panda 4. This nimble corsac fox is a thief who crosses paths with Po in his adventure in the big city. While she may be a criminal, Po sees through her conniving ways, thinking she could be the one to take the Dragon Warrior mantle next.

Awkwafina's previous credits include Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsThe Farewell, and Raya and the Last Dragon

Chameleon (Viola Davis)

The evil Chameleon, the main foe of Kung Fu Panda 4, is portrayed by Viola Davis. As a fierce fighter, the Chameleon has the ability to draw out the kung fu energy from anybody who stands in her path. This gives the hideous reptile the ability to change into anybody whose essence she manages to take, including Po's former enemies.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, The Help, and Suicide Squad are among the movies in which Davis is most well-known for her roles.

Han (Ke Huy Quan)

Han, a pangolin that lives in a large metropolis and is voiced by Ke Huy Quan, makes friends with Po when he travels across the city. Zhen from Awkwafina is a member of the Den of Thieves, which is led by Han.

Ke Huy Quan is currently making a comeback to acting after a twenty-year hiatus. He won an Oscar for his performance in the 2022 film Everything Everywhere All at Once. He had significant parts in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Loki: Second Season.
